Position Summary The Administrative Services Assistant is responsible for a wide range of procurement, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, cashiering, and administrative services at a Community College. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Under the direction of the Director or Associate Director of Finance and Administrative Services or other administrator, the Administrative Services Assistant is accountable for the effective performance in these essential functional areas: Key responsibilities include: Procurement and accounts payableAccounts Receivable and cashieringScheduling events and facilitiesInventory/asset management Additional responsibilities include: Attendance and participation at convocation and commencement ceremoniesService on assigned committees and task forcesAttendance and participation at committee, staff, informational and professional meetings which may occur during evenings and weekends This posting outlines qualifications, experience, and skills but is not limited to the full specifications in the official job description. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an appropriately related field and up to three (3) years of relevant experience; or a combination of education, training and experience which would lead to the competencies required for successful performance of the position’s essential duties.
