This is a position-specific recruitment for a Grade 13 role located in Annapolis, MD. The resulting certified eligible list may be used to fill current and future vacancies for this function only.

Responsibilities

  • Content editing and management
  • Compliance auditing
  • Answering inquiries from the public and internal stakeholders
  • Managing reports and employee files
  • Supporting the HR team and serving as a point of contact for agency-wide employees

This position is hybrid-telework eligible after successful completion of training. Employees report directly to the Senior HR Business Partner.

Requirements

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience: One year of administrative staff or professional work.

  • Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
  • Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work (e.g., independent judgment and analysis in applying/interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules, or operational programs with recommendations for improvement) on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

For education obtained outside of the U.S., proof of equivalent American education (via a foreign credential evaluation service) is required. If you possess a foreign degree, submit a detailed, course-by-course evaluation report from a NACES member.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday or other HRIS technology
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe suites, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of proper grammar and concise writing abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
