Administrative Nursing Supervisor
About the role
The Administrative Nursing Supervisor coordinates and supervises the activities of hospital personnel, during the evening, night, weekend and/or holiday hours. The position supports high quality patient care and safety through evaluating performance of nursing and ancillary services, facilitating staffing, continuously conducting campus-wide rounds and responding to all in-house emergencies/serious events. This leader position maintains frequent communication with all departments to smooth throughput, reducing barriers.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current license required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS is required upon hire or transfer
- 3-5 years of nursing experience required, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibilities
- Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire
