Administrative Manager (RN) - Per Diem, Nights - Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center

About the role

Acts as administrative and clinical resource person for problems that arise throughout the hospital. Manages daily staffing, needs during off shift, able to assess staffing, meet staffing patterns. Manages emergency through put, surge, and bed management.

Responsibilities

• Staffing analyses and assuring staffing, meets staffing pattern needs per unit
• Advocates for patient safety
• Active role in emergency management
• Performs unit and department rounds
• Receives report and collaborates with organizational huddle and staffing huddle
• Collaborates with bed management and needs
• Book off shift and OR cases - activates call team on call
• Reports significant problems to administrator on call
• Attends every other month team meetings
• Schedules Per Diem, evenings and nights
• 7pm-7am, one weekend every 4 weeks, flexibility to work Monday - Friday and weekends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• BLS
• Valid NJ RN License
• Relevant Experience: 3-5 years of experience in nursing leadership
• PREFERRED: Master's degree in Nursing
• ACLS

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of hospital operations and policies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
