About the role
The Craig Hospital Administrative Fellowship is a two-year, project-based and rotational training program designed for emerging healthcare leaders. Fellows gain immersive experience within one of the nation's leading specialty rehabilitation hospitals, participating in meetings, strategic initiatives, project management activities, and department rotations.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with executive and senior leadership to implement and support projects related to Craig Hospital's strategic priorities.
- Lead and contribute to projects that improve operations, support departments, and advance organizational goals.
- Participate in organizational meetings, committees, and leadership discussions while effectively communicating outcomes and recommendations.
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical leaders, and operational teams to accomplish project goals and timelines.
- Develop healthcare management and leadership competencies through rotational experiences and project work.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement, efficiency, and systems enhancement.
- Demonstrate initiative by taking on new challenges, leadership opportunities, and hospital-wide deliverables.
- Serve as a positive representative of Craig Hospital's mission, values, and culture.
- Aid with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or a related field; OR
- Current graduate-level degree candidate from an accredited college or university who will complete their degree prior to the fellowship start date.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship, fellowship, employment, practicum, or other experiential learning within healthcare.
- Exposure to healthcare operations, administration, strategy, quality improvement, or patient experience initiatives.
- Experience within service-oriented industries that emphasize customer service, relationship building, and operational excellence.
- Leadership experience through graduate programs, student organizations, employment, volunteer work, or community involvement.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects, leading initiatives, or coordinating teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field; OR Current graduate-level degree candidate from an accredited college or university.
- Eligibility: External candidates must be within 12 months of graduation; Internal candidates must be within three years of graduation.
