Administrative Coordinator - Department of Health Professions
About the role
The Department of Health Professions is seeking an Administrative Assistant to manage the offices of the Physician's Assistant (PA) and Athletic Training (AT) programs.
Responsibilities
- Managing program offices
- Serving as a liaison with the Graduate School and Registrar’s Office
- Handling communications and visitor inquiries
- Oversight of lab equipment and inventory
- Processing faculty travel and reimbursements
- Reconciling program assets
- Serving as a liaison with the Graduate School for admissions activities
- Maintaining application portals
- Cooking and coordinating interviews and campus visits
- Aiding in admissions processes
- Communicating admission decisions to the Graduate School
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of office administration practices
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Excellent computer, typing, and data-entry skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Effective accounting/bookkeeping knowledge
- Outstanding written, verbal, and telephone communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, follow through on tasks, and maintain strict confidentiality
