Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Administrative Executive Assistant, the Administrative Coordinator assists with the daily tasks and administrative responsibilities that enable the effective running of the Business Office. Responsibilities include:
- Manage the access process for business systems for staff which includes but not limited to: form completion, form reviews, ticket creation, and follow-up
- Assist with the process and procedure for departmental non-tax levy appointments
- Enter and maintain records of submitted employee timesheets, alerting supervisors of any discrepancies
- Process and submit all business office expense, and purchasing requests in a timely fashion
- Cookids and assist new staff on CUNYBuy and other business office systems
- Distribute non-tax levy allocation reports for all departments
- Create and enter requisitions for business office and other departments as necessary
- Update and maintain departmental budget and expense spreadsheets
- Maintain confidential records and information
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two years’ experience in higher education and/or fiscal administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred. Experience with PeopleSoft systems such as: CUNYFirst Cuny Title Overview.
