Responsibilities
- Serves as main source of information, effectively responding to inquiries from potential customers, participants, and academic collaborators.
- Creates and implements administrative systems to manage the area of responsibility.
- Prepares and maintains records, reports, budget, and plans.
- Maintains a web page, website, or program materials.
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of related experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction.
- Able to plan, prioritize, and track work.
- Basic or better proficiency on common office software.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish (preferred).
- Basic proficiency in Excel and related database skills.
- Ability to quickly learn additional computer applications.
- Flexibility and ability to manage multiple assignments from several sources, to prioritize while involved in simultaneous tasks under deadlines, stay calm under pressure and deal with frequent changes is essential.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse, multi-cultural population of clients, students, and staff.
- Previous experience with Procurement systems (Concur - Buy2Pay) and accounting and budgets preferred.
Pay
This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours/week.
Schedule
Ideal schedule would be Monday-Friday 1:00-5:00pm.
