Responsibilities

  • Serves as main source of information, effectively responding to inquiries from potential customers, participants, and academic collaborators.
  • Creates and implements administrative systems to manage the area of responsibility.
  • Prepares and maintains records, reports, budget, and plans.
  • Maintains a web page, website, or program materials.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of related experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Able to plan, prioritize, and track work.
  • Basic or better proficiency on common office software.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish (preferred).
  • Basic proficiency in Excel and related database skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn additional computer applications.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple assignments from several sources, to prioritize while involved in simultaneous tasks under deadlines, stay calm under pressure and deal with frequent changes is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse, multi-cultural population of clients, students, and staff.
  • Previous experience with Procurement systems (Concur - Buy2Pay) and accounting and budgets preferred.

Pay

This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours/week.

Schedule

Ideal schedule would be Monday-Friday 1:00-5:00pm.
