About The Role
The Administrative Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative, financial, and operational support for the Center for Student Engagement, Office of Community Standards and Care, and the Norse Center for Belonging. This position manages departmental financial processes, including purchasing, budget monitoring, expense reimbursements, and reconciliation of transactions. The Administrative Coordinator supports marketing and outreach efforts through assisting with the creation of branded materials and maintenance of website content. Additionally, this role serves as a frontline resource for students, families and community members.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the Center for Student Engagement, Office of Community Standards and Care, and the Norse Center for Belonging. This includes, but is not limited to answering phones, responding to emails, ordering catering, and coordinating meetings.
- Manage and reconcile departmental purchases, purchase requisitions, contracts, expense reimbursements and credit card transactions for the CSE, CSC, and NCB. This includes monitoring, tracking, and adjusting budgets as needed.
- Aid in the creation of marketing materials in line with NKU brand standards and update CSE, CSC, and NCB websites as necessary.
- Manage human resource administration duties including approving time sheets for student workers and onboarding new professional staff members.
- Place orders for equipment, furniture, supplies, materials, and other items.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
