About the role
A Venture Capital firm in Cambridge is seeking a dynamic Administrative Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the organization. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional multi-tasking skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work effectively with all levels of internal management, staff, visitors, and high-level external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate with vendors related to IT, phone, AV, facilities management, and other operational needs.
- Handle board coordination activities.
- Collaborate with the finance team on billing and invoicing.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for events, office spend, and related expenses.
- Support the Senior Executive Team with calendar management, travel, and logistics.
- Maintain cordial and productive working relationships with administrative assistants of corporate partners and Board members.
- Provide accurate word-processing support by composing and/or editing a variety of documents, including highly confidential correspondence, memoranda, contracts, and proposals.
- Support the team and assist with other projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Relevant administrative management experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated flexibility and professional maturity to readily understand priorities and anticipate needs.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver on critical assignments on time and within budget.
- Positive “can-do” attitude, a consummate team player with excellent judgment, and the ability to work well independently.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience setting up systems and databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high standard of confidentiality.
Pay
$65,000 per year.
