Responsibilities

  • Answer and route phone calls from customers, suppliers, and truckers
  • Read and reroute incoming mail, email, and phone messages; process outgoing mail and shipments
  • Support all staff with organization procedures including filing, billing, accounts payable, timesheets, and scheduling
  • Assist Corporate HR in onboarding, employee relations, policy requests, and benefit enrollment
  • Assist with the collection of outstanding customer receivables through phone and written correspondence
  • Process and maintain new customer and vendor paperwork and accounts in the company computer system
  • Process invoices, return orders, and purchase orders daily
  • Process customer credit card payments
  • Process project preliminary notices
  • Maintain communications with Corporate Headquarters in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain the general appearance and environment of the office
  • Follow prescribed safety regulations
  • Punctual and reliable attendance
  • Other tasks and responsibilities may be added at management’s discretion

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 4+ years’ experience as an Administrative Coordinator, Office Management, or other relevant administrative support role
  • 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office suite products

Physical Requirements

  • Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally using body, hands, fingers, arms, legs, and feet
  • Walking or standing occasionally; sitting to a significant degree
  • Occasional local travel using personal vehicle
