About the role
Otter Tail Lakes Country (OTLC) is a regional nonprofit marketing and economic development organization that has promoted the region since 1976. Our diverse membership includes businesses, organizations, and communities. Together, we work to promote Otter Tail County as a premier place to Play, Stay, Dine, Live & Work. We promote our partners, facilitate connections and resources, and advocate for the region through our marketing network.
Wage: $20–$30/hour. Status: Part or Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Non-Benefited. Location: Fergus Falls with a flexible hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
Partner Services
- Support the Partnership Director and help deliver exceptional service to OTLC partners.
- Keep partner records, interactions, communications, and activities current in the GrowthZone customer relationship management system.
- Coordinate partner communications, follow-ups, onboarding, renewals, and check-ins.
- Prepare invoices, receive payments, assist with bookkeeping, and support partner benefit fulfillment.
- Assist with partner newsletters and communications.
Administrative & Financial
- Manage phone, email, mail, website inquiries, calendars, meetings, and events.
- Support Board and committee meetings, including notices, agendas, materials, and minutes.
- Maintain organized records, Google Drive folders, and organizational documents.
- Process accounts payable/receivable and assist with deposits and bill payment.
Marketing & Communications
- Support production and distribution of the annual OTLC magazine and promotional materials.
- Update website content and maintain visitor inquiry/lead databases.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
- Schedule and publish partner social media content using Sprout Social.
- Respond to social media comments and proactively engage followers.
Requirements
- Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal, and customer-service skills.
- Bookkeeping/financial recordkeeping ability.
- Comfort learning CRM, database, cloud, and office technology.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- High school diploma/equivalent and valid Minnesota driver’s license.
