Administrative Coordinator

Simmonds, Martin, & Helmbrecht of Advantia was founded in 1970, establishing a tradition of great medical care by emphasizing strong personal relationships between patients and physicians. Our practice is dedicated to continuing medical education and training, and we offer many onsite services including high definition ultrasound, minimally invasive surgery, operative hysteroscopy, and comprehensive antepartum testing. Our offices are located in Gaithersburg, Rockville, Damascus, and Frederick. This position will float between Gaithersburg and Rockville.

Responsibilities

• Serve patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
• Welcome patients and visitors in person or on the telephone; serve as the first touchpoint between the patient and the practice.
• Perform all registration (or verify mobile registration) for new patients and update registration information for established patients.
• Demonstrate effective handling of patient situations, including upset/dissatisfied customers, and work with other teams as needed to efficiently and effectively resolve customer needs.
• Optimize patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone following established scheduling guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a medical/clinical office.
• Ability to travel between practice locations as needed.

Pay

Compensation Range: $20.00-$23.00/hr (based on years of experience)
