About the Role
Reporting to and under the general direction of the Managing Director, EA Operations and Administration, and with additional lead work direction from other Entrepreneurial Activities (EA) management, the Administrative Coordinator initiates, coordinates, and implements administrative duties in support of the administrative operations of the EA Administrative Services department. The role involves coordinating day-to-day tasks, making recommendations on operational and policy matters, evaluating work procedures, executing large-scale, complex projects with broad, visible impact, and providing lead work direction, training, or assistance to other support staff within the EA unit.
Qualifications
- High school degree or technical/vocational program degree.
- Minimum of two to three years of administrative work experience involving program administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.
- General knowledge of Entrepreneurial Activities.
- Foundational knowledge of public administration principles, practices, and methods.
- One year of experience in a direct administrative support capacity (preferred).
- Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) (required).
- Knowledge of Google Suite, Caterease, 25Live, Ricoh Software, and PeopleSoft (preferred).
Pay
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a monthly salary range of $4,367 - $6,362 (CSU Classification Step 1 - Step 20). Step placement will be determined based on relevant qualifications and professional experience, with initial placement not expected to exceed Step 1 ($4,367).

Schedule
This is a full-time position leading toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.
