ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR 3
About the role
This position functions as a Switchboard Operator within the District Business Office. The incumbent must be self-motivated and able to perform duties independently with little to no supervision on a regular basis. The incumbent will participate in DOTD structured training programs as appropriate and attend all continuing education classes and conferences deemed necessary to facilitate the performance of required tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate the Switchboard by phone and two-way radio.
- Greet all customers, both internal and external.
- Ensure calls are forwarded to the proper person or department in a courteous and timely manner.
- Communicate with management personnel and vendors, exchanging information and resolving problems.
- Scan all pay documents into Content Manager, using a multi feeder Fujitsu Scanner.
- Assist the traveling public.
- Enter all calls received from customers into the Customer Service Database.
- Open and stamp all incoming mail for the Business Office and sort and distribute all other incoming mail.
- Perform other duties as necessary, including, but not limited to, emergency/disaster support activities.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Two years of experience in administrative services. Experience Substitution: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.
