About the role

The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of policies and procedures related to procurement and travel arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Purchase Orders: Prepare, process, and track purchase orders for necessary supplies and equipment required for research activities.
  • Booking Rooms For Students: Coordinate and manage the reservation of classrooms and study spaces for student use, ensuring that all bookings meet the students scheduling needs.
  • Reimbursement for the Principal Investigator (PI) and Her Research Group: Handle the reimbursement process for the Principal Investigator and her research team, which includes collecting receipts, submitting reimbursement requests, and ensuring timely payments for research-related expenses.
  • Arranging And Resolving Vendor Conflicts: Liaise with vendors to arrange services or products needed for research projects, while also addressing and resolving any conflicts or issues that arise to maintain smooth operations.
  • If necessary, Update The Website: Update the Taiwan Hub's website with new content, such as events and announcements, to keep the information current and accessible to the public and stakeholders.

Requirements

A proven track record in managing purchasing processes, along with familiarity with purchase policies and protocols, will be advantageous.

Skills

Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders are essential.
