Employment Type Full time Shift Day Shift Description Position Purpose: The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for the Chief Executive Officer, and other Administration Team members. Duties performed include managing the Medical Staff Credentialing Files and all Contracts and Agreement files, including the Contracted Staff files. The AA maintains the agendas and records the minutes for the Medical Staff, Community Health Board and Critical Access Advisory Meetings. What You Will Do Provides administrative support for the CEO and other A-team members.Manages Medical Staff Credentialing files, all the contracts and agreements.Maintains agendas and records the minutes for the Medical Staff, Community Health Board and Critical Access Advisory meetings.Maintains Emergency Department Provider Schedule, the Administration Call Calendars, the Leadership Huddle Leader Calendar, the ER Time Study Log and the CRNA sign in Log.Maintains and enters Data into "Kronos" for payrollMaintains video conferencing programs through Telemedicine.Prepares and submits Check Requests, processes P-Card usage.Arranges for annual performance reviews for managers by organizing review packets, managing and distributing peer review material in advance as requested.Completes Iowa Hospital Association, American Hospital Association and various surveys as requested by CEO, CNO or other managers. Hours/Schedule Full Time/Days Education Minimum Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent required.Completion of one-year formal secretarial program or equivalent required. Experience Demonstrated proficiency in office equipment usage, including word processing/personal computer software.Three years of work experience in a secretarial setting, preferred. Special Skills And Competencies Knowledge and proficiency in the use of word processing and spreadsheet software, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.Self-motivated, detailed-orientated individual able to work with minimum supervision.Ability to shift priorities to meet deadlines.Ability to exhibit customer service focuses in work activities.Ability to respect confidentiality of information pertaining to patients, medical staff, employees, guests or medical center operations.Ability to handle stress and a demanding workload.Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.Ability to deal sensitively and tactfully with others.Ability to work with diverse audiences (e.g. board members, network administrators, physicians, public, etc.) Our Commitment Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
