The Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DD) seeks to hire an Administrative Support Professional. This is a Central Office position which will be domiciled in Jefferson City, Missouri. The base salary offered for this position is up to $48,000.00 annually, commensurate with education and experience. If the selected candidate is eligible for a pay differential, such as retention pay, the total salary may exceed what is listed in this posting. Job Duties This position will provide advanced technical and administrative support for the various activities and functions of Fiscal Operations within the Division of Developmental Disabilities. Responsibilities Include Process payments in SAMII, MissouriBUYS and the Division’s Customer Information Management, Outcomes & Reporting System (CIMOR).Assist in the testing and implementation of MOVERS financial.Monitor invoice email submissions.Track requests for allocations from Division Safety Training Fund.Assist with vendor setup and payment issues.Generate quarterly and monthly reports and enter related payments.Provide complex administrative support to the DD Deputy Director of Administration.Perform administrative tasks including email and calendar management, proofreading, drafting letters, memos, expense reports and other documents for staff.Other duties as assigned. Required Skills Communication skills – Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional customer service, excellent verbal and written communication and effective problem-solving skills.High degree of autonomy. High levels of motivation, initiative, and resourcefulness. Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment. Time management skills – Ability to work independently, setting priorities, managing workloads, proven ability to meet deadlines. Organizational skills – Excellent organization and attention to detail, ability to assist distributed team members in person or virtually who are regionally-based throughout the state and working flexible schedules. Technology skills – Strong knowledge of data management, support service functions, and recordkeeping systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new or updated software. Knowledge of the principles and practices of office management and a variety of support service functions.Ability to move light objects weighing less than 30 lbs. short distances. Eligibility Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; or 2–5 years of clerical, administrative, or office support experience.
