About the role

The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the engineering leadership and team while serving as a central resource for site-wide business needs. This role requires professionalism, sound judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist leadership by proactively managing complex calendars and possibly monitor email communication highlighting urgent matters requiring attention.
  • Coordinate onsite and offsite meetings, events, meals, and employee engagement activities.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel in accordance with company policies; prepare related expense reports.
  • Serve as a primary resource for general site inquiries, visitor assistance, and information routing.
  • Coordinate facilities service requests, shipping needs, and office supply ordering, tracking, and organization.
  • Prepare meeting materials, presentations, reports, and documents using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Track and maintain departmental budgets and assist management in determining budget requirements.
  • Support onboarding by coordinating workspace assignments, desk setup, and new-employee resources.
  • Collaborate with other administrative professionals to ensure coordinated support across teams and functions.
  • Administer organization of Teams, ALM, and SharePoint sites, including site content updates, user access, and assisting users with questions.
  • Perform additional administrative and project duties as business needs evolve.
  • Travel as needed.

Requirements

You Must Have:

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience supporting multiple leaders or engineering organizations.
  • Experience with Concur, SAP, Ariba, SharePoint, or similar administrative platforms.
  • Customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
  • Experience coordinating site-wide events or supporting facilities, onboarding, or operational tasks.

Pay

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
