Role Purpose
Provides executive administrative support to Executives in an organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Handles details of items that are critical in nature on a daily basis
- Makes contact with internal and external executive leadership on matters that are of a sensitive nature to the company
- Work/ Life Balance Flexibility: Management of executive during business hours and after hours when required
- Interface directly with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Corporate Officers and their executive assistants
- Manage all aspects of calendar, phone and travel
- Event Planning: Offsite executive meetings/events, recognition, team building
- Manage and process expense reports using Concur
- Proactively directs, collects, and prepares information for use in discussions/ meetings for executives, internal and external individuals, customer meetings, as well as materials for high level corporate meetings (internal and external)
- Manage complex travel arrangements (both domestic and international) and proactively stays ahead of changes; including management of all travel documents as required
- Manage and maintain supplies for office
- Initiate and manage purchase order processes and procedures
- Provide administrative back up support for Executive Admin
Experiences/Education - Required
- 3-5 years of experience in the Administrative Assistant roles
- Communication Expert: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with all levels of the corporation. Strong organizational and administrative skills, attention to detail. Focus on error-free work and follow up to ensure tasks are complete
- Strategic Specialist: Motivated, self-started, detail oriented and anticipates executive’s needs. Decision making/problem solving skills and balanced judgment while maintaining professional composure and demeanor at all times
- Innovative Leader: Looks for new ideas and bases decisions on the business needs. Exercises high level of discretion, integrity and confidentiality. Well networked within Corning is a plus.
- Skilled Manager: Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, flexible, works efficiently and effectively in a dynamic high-pressure and fast paced environment
- Technology Leader: Stays current on trends and is willing to adapt to new technology and processes. Strong computer/technology skills
- Professionalism: Presence, maturity, and appearance. Must be accessible, dependable and reliable
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Associates Degree
- Successful track record of performance in chosen field
Pay Range
The range for this position is $62,786.00 - $86,332.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
