About the role

Serves as a key member of the Occupational Health team, supporting efficient clinic operations.

Responsibilities

  • Compile, record, and maintain reports and correspondence within the electronic medical record (EHR).
  • Enter and track data within EHR systems and departmental databases to support compliance with OSHA, DOT, workers’ compensation, and company requirements.
  • Maintain confidential employee health and medical records and tracking logs, reports, and monitoring of regulatory data.
  • Aid in the drug screening process and random drug screening programs (DOT, DFWP, and company-specific programs).
  • Prepare and maintain departmental statistical reports, update forms, emails, and correspondence.
  • Support the Occupational Health Corporate Advisory Committee with administrative duties.
  • Provide support to the front office by greeting employees, patients, visitors, and vendors, scheduling appointments, registering patients, and assisting with administrative duties.
  • Completes any other special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates degree preferred or equivalent education/experience.
  • Typing at 50+ wpm, critical thinking and problem solving with demonstrated effective communication skills required.
  • Medical terminology preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with department leadership and employer representatives.
  • Ability to be flexible with hours and work under pressure.
  • Customer service oriented and a strong team-player with a positive, helpful, can-do attitude.

  • General knowledge and skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
