Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant – Medical assists in day-to-day administrative operations of the office of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Director of Clinical Services, Integrated Behavioral Health and Ryan White. The Administrative Assistant - Medical is responsible for coordinated and effective communications, meetings and events, planning and development of clinical departments.
Essential Tasks
- Captures and coordinates functions within the clinical department and among other departments within the organization, enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepares correspondence and other documents for approval and distribution.
- Receives and organizes requests for leave that require Chief Medical Officer approval.
- Receives and organizes purchase orders and other documents that require Chief Medical Officer review and/or approval; including clinical audit reports.
- Supports the Chief Medical Officer by organizing and preparing agenda items for monthly meetings; preparing minutes and other supporting materials.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Maintains intermediate level experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Maintains detail orientation.
- Maintains the ability to multi-task.
Experience And Education
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum five years of administrative assistant experience.
- Effective organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Constant standing and walking, occasional bending, stooping, lifting, reaching forward and overhead.
- May occasionally be required to lift patients, office equipment and paper, usually not exceeding fifty pounds of direct lift.
- Frequent computer work required.

Pay
The starting pay for this position is $15.00 hourly. Please keep in mind that actual salary will vary based on various factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
Schedule
Monday to Friday 8am-5pm 8 hour shift
