About the Role

The State of New Hampshire, Liquor Commission, has a full-time vacancy for Administrative Assistant I. This position serves as an Administrative Coordinator in the Marketing, Merchandising, and Warehousing Division, supporting the Director of Marketing, Merchandising, and Warehousing. The role involves developing and monitoring administrative and office management procedures, conducting research, compiling statistics, and handling clerical tasks while ensuring compliance with NH Liquor Commission rules and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate administrative operations for the Director, including scheduling, organizing division meetings, and distributing agenda items.
  • Prepare and review correspondence for the Director, including submissions and approvals related to brokers, suppliers, and internal commission personnel.
  • Provide accurate and timely price lists to internal staff, brokers, agency stores, and external partners for advertising, distribution, and marketing purposes.
  • Maintain records of vendor and broker activity, including product details, pricing, listings/delistings, and sales data.
  • Calculate annual billing for vendors and brokers based on requested data.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Liquor Commission and marketing agencies/contractors, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.
  • Develop and implement research methodologies to monitor and analyze statistical data for pricing and product placement decisions.
  • Provide backup and clerical support to the Informational Representative and Beverage Marketing Specialist as needed.
  • Uphold professionalism and courtesy in all interactions, representing the organization with integrity.

Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: Equivalent combination of 3 years of education and experience after high school in office/business administration, executive support, or a related field supporting senior management or directors.
  • License/Certification: None required.
