Administrative Assistant (Healthcare Operations)
About the role
The Operations Assistant role at BlueSprig is an administrative position with a strong focus in healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and their families, along with a keen interest in healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Understand general office administrative duties and maintain a clean and efficient center environment.
- Initiate and nurture relationships with clients, their families, prospective clients, and current employees.
- Coordinate and process client referrals.
- Troubleshoot client authorizations.
- Update and maintain the client database and schedule appointments.
- Conduct daily audits to ensure data integrity.
- Aid in the onboarding of new team members.
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development department to deliver annual and ongoing staff training.
- Follow all policies and procedures, including HIPAA, confidentiality, and mandated reporting standards.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in a healthcare setting, with Applied Behavior Analysis preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Knowledge of general health insurance billing.
- Strong understanding and comfort in using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, crouching, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally.

This is a temporary position anticipated to last until the end of 2026, based on business needs. While there is a possibility of transitioning to a full-time position, this is contingent upon various factors including business needs, center staffing requirements, budget approval, and the employee's performance. Pay
Salary range: $20 - $25 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday - 7am-3:30pm (with 30-minute lunch) / 4pm (with 1-hour lunch)
