About the role
The administrative assistant position is an entry-level opportunity designed for motivated individuals with a keen interest in the mental health field or aspiring to advance their administrative career. This role offers unparalleled access to clinical meetings where you will gain insights into best-in-class treatment approaches for psychiatric and addictive disorders.
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical support to all Camden Center staff
- Greet visitors, direct them to appropriate offices, and maintain a welcoming environment
- Answer phones, transfer calls, and take detailed messages
- Differentiate urgent messages from regular calls and return them at the end of the day
- Manage calendars for patients and staff
- Compose professional emails to patients, staff, and associates
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and good judgment
- Organize patient files and information into Medical Records Database and Google Drive
- Take inventory of office and clinical supplies and place orders/restock as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of common areas and therapy offices
- Prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain excellent attention to detail
- Collect samples and prepare urinary analysis screenings for laboratory testing
- Distribute medication and take vitals as directed by the medical team
Requirements
- 1-3 years of administrative experience
- Strong computer and internet research skills; proficiency in Google Workspace
- Professionalism of the highest caliber in all interactions with patients and staff
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with all levels of management, staff, patients, and vendors
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and provide documentation (2 forms of ID and/or Green Card)
- Ability to sit and stand for up to 4 hours
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
- Ability to kneel, bend, and squat
