About the role
Join the team leading traffic data collection in the Carolinas as an Operations Administrative Assistant. This part-time position supports transportation projects and local community initiatives with a strong technical focus.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with QC’s external and internal operations teams on a variety of transportation projects
- Perform data “uploads and downloads” from various QC traffic equipment sources (e.g., recording devices, cameras)
- Perform general equipment troubleshooting
- Proofread documents
- Serve various support functions to field technicians (e.g., conducting local community traffic surveys and parking lot studies)
Requirements
- Highly technical and computer savvy; technical aptitude for hardware/software troubleshooting is critical
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Self-motivated, takes initiative, and can work independently
- Efficient problem solver who doesn’t skip details and can balance multiple tasks
- Can work at a computer for extended periods of time
- Must commit to a flexible schedule on these days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (with the occasional midweek shift)
- Part-time hours only (e.g., 8-20 hours per week; averaging 14 hours per week)
- Lives within 15-20 miles of Charlotte, NC (or can commit to commute; job is not remote and in-office attendance is required)

Schedule
