Responsibilities

  • Work in a supportive environment that provides advancement opportunities and promotes a healthy work-life balance.
  • Perform administrative and business office services tasks as assigned by the Community Business Director.
  • Afford assistance with accounts receivable function, including maintaining resident data in systems and files, inputting ancillary charges, and generating monthly billing statements.
  • Afford assistance with accounts payable, including coding of invoices, data entry into systems, making copies, and filing of vendor files.
  • Afford support for payroll functions by running daily punch reports, correcting missed punches, and supporting pay period end functions and filing.
  • Afford support for human resource functions such as new hire orientation, enrollment and plan changes, maintaining personnel files, and tracking of FMLA, Worker’s Compensation, and other programs as assigned.
  • Afford support for month end close procedures, collecting month end accruals from department heads, and assisting with account research as necessary.
  • Afford support for direct phone coverage with receptionist staff.
  • Manage and order community office supplies as needed.
  • Drive company vehicle from community to social and other various destinations (only if required by community).
  • Support sales effort by scheduling tours, completing phone inquiries, and conducting tours as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office and ability to navigate the internet.
  • Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.

Qualifications

  • State required training guidelines.
  • Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Able to write simple correspondence.
  • Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Skills

  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Work various schedules and shifts as needed.
