About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support the operations at Blaisdell Apartments, a 151-unit manufactured housing community in Minneapolis, MN. The Administrative Assistant oversees administrative tasks, coordinates resident relations, manages leasing documentation, and performs clerical and administrative functions to drive company success.
Responsibilities
- Represent Investment Property Group in a positive and professional manner at all times
- Provide administrative support to the Community Manager and office team with daily operations
- Assist prospective residents by answering questions, scheduling appointments, and conducting property tours
- Process rental applications and help ensure all required documentation is complete
- Assist with resident correspondence, filing, data entry, and maintaining organized and accurate records
- Support lease preparation, move-in paperwork, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Help maintain office organization and ensure paperwork is completed accurately and timely
- Deliver professional customer service to current and prospective residents while supporting overall community operations
- Handle conflict resolution, complaints, and provide a high level of customer service tailored to the community demographic
- Experience with rent collection and delinquency management
- Identify areas for improvement and offer suggestions to improve the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the property
- Promote vacant lots or homes and maintain high occupancy rates
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with residents and collaborate effectively with team members
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service, including responsiveness to tenant needs and community engagement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with tenants, contractors, and local authorities
- Marketing and sales skills
- Proficiency in property management software (i.e., Yardi, CRM, Blue Moon, Rent Café, Vendor Café, Client Central)
- A positive attitude
- Valid driver's license

Pay
$20.00 - $24.00 hourly, depending on qualifications, education, and prior experience
Schedule
Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm
