Job Responsibilities
- Answers and responds to phone and email inquiries.
- Open and distribute mail.
- Prepare travel requests and secure car rentals for assigned staff.
- Create and monitor ART routings and shopping carts.
- Responsible for bill paying.
- Affords and monitors office supply and material ordering as needed.
- Develops and implements applications.
- Affords and monitors equipment purchases.
- Prepares print orders for the department’s internal print shop – collates and assembles printed projects upon request.
- Operates as an office backup for this task.
- Affords assistance with onboarding personnel employed by the Office.
- Affords assistance with the development, maintenance, and monitoring of internal office procedures.
- Serves as liaison responsible for disseminating current office/department policies and procedures.
- Performs additional duties assigned by office leadership.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
- A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment.
- A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
- A high school diploma and two (2) years of secretarial experience; or an associate degree in secretarial science or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment while demonstrating sound judgement and making timely, effective decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- A high school diploma and two (2) years of secretarial experience; or an associate degree in secretarial science or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
