About the role
Nightwing is seeking an Administration Technician to join the Kodiak program in Herndon, VA, supporting a dynamic business office. The successful candidate will perform a combination of admin technician and case management tasks, supporting analytical and digital divisions, and assisting with applications that support case management tasks, which may include providing process improvements needed to execute case management tasks more consistently and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing mail in accordance with strict policies and procedures
- Perform document scanning and other office tasks and duties as required
- Electronically review a subset of newly processed documents
- Identify any possible duplicates in the repository
- Review metadata and images relating to the documents to aide in identifying potential duplications
- Record case management decisions in the database system
- Coordinate intra- and inter-organizational referrals
- Interact with case managers
- Provide process improvement ideas to enhance team performance
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure coverage between 7am to 4 pm
Requirements
- TS/SCI with Polygraph required day 1
- Minimum of 6 full years of experience specific to the skill (A Bachelor's degree is equivalent to 3 years of specialized experience; a Master's degree is equivalent to 2 years of specialized experience, up to a total of 5 years when combined with a Bachelor's)
- Schedule flexibility to provide back-up support to other team members for coverage, and opening and closing as required
- Understanding of security requirements and ability to follow program guidelines/procedures
Skills
- Proficiency in online tools and desktop applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Access, and other required systems
- Strong attention to detail to ensure case files are recorded and tracked accurately
- Strong work ethic
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and management
- Strong customer service skills to maintain effective working relationships at all customer levels and ability to develop good rapport with outside liaisons
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
- Ability to handle multi-tasking priorities and adapt to changing work requirements
- Willingness to learn and provide process improvement solutions/ideas
- Knowledge of the Intelligence Community (optional)
