About the role
The Admin Support Staff member will provide support to teaching staff during 10-minute breaks, assist with lunch breaks, ensure teachers adhere to their schedules, maintain classroom ratios, ensure compliance with KA Health and Safety Standards, and support the admin team.
Responsibilities

- Ensure teachers adhere to their schedules for timely breaks
- Maintain classroom ratios
- Ensure compliance with KA Health and Safety Standards in the classroom
- Support the admin team in their daily tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or early education-related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in classroom management and customer service, familiar with Title 22 regulations
- Proven track record in customer service and problem-solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Knowledgeable in safety protocols
Qualifications
- Qualified candidates must have knowledge of preschool educational methods, the ability to engage children, and earn their trust and attention.
- Candidates must have a great love and patience for children.
Education and Certification Requirements
- A permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing authorizing service in the care, development, and instruction of children in a child care and development program.
- This can be either of the following permits:
- - Regular Children’s Center Instructional Permit
- - Limited Children’s Center Instructional Permit
- - Emergency Children’s Center Instructional Permit
- - Child Development Master Teacher Permit
- - Child Development Teacher Permit
- - Child Development Associate Teacher Permit (Note: This permit authorizes the holder to supervise Assistant Permit holders and an aide.)
- OR A current credential issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing authorizing teaching service in elementary school or a single subject credential in home economics, and 12 units in ECE and/or CD or two years’ experience in early childhood education or a child care and development program.
