About the role
We are seeking a high-caliber, detail-oriented Dealership Onboarding Credit Associate to provide exceptional support directly and indirectly to our dealer customers. In this critical role, you will be the primary bridge between our vendor partners and prospective retail dealerships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated point of contact for our front line representative and vendors, overseeing a smooth onboarding lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough compliance and background checks on prospective retail dealerships to protect Ally’s brand and integrity.
- Review and validate critical legal documentation.
- Analyze dealer financial statements, credit histories, and capitalization requirements to ensure operational viability.
- Facilitate and verify the flawless execution of dealer agreements, addendums, and complex ownership structures.
- Carefully coordinate cross-functionally with Sales and Operations to provision system access, activate accounts, and transition compliant dealers to active status.
- Simultaneously manage a high volume of dealership applications at various stages of onboarding without sacrificing accuracy or speed.
Qualifications
- 0+ years of experience
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Automotive/retail dealership operations, commercial lending, or merchant onboarding experience preferred
- Impeccable Attention to Detail
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines
- Exceptional professional written and verbal communication
- Comfortable reading legal agreements and interpreting basic corporate financials
Skills
- High school Diploma or equivalent required.
- HS diploma or equivalent required.
- Automotive/retail dealership operations, commercial lending, or merchant onboarding experience preferred.

Pay
Base Pay Range: $49920 - $62732.8 USD
Schedule
Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager.
