Responsibilities

  • Read and review construction plans and specifications
  • Aid in preparing and writing project proposals and estimates
  • Coordinate scheduling of fabrication and installation jobs
  • Communicate with customers, contractors, and project managers regarding project status and scheduling
  • Maintain project files and documentation
  • Track bid submissions and follow up on opportunities
  • Support the estimating team with administrative and clerical tasks

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to read construction drawings/plans (preferred but willing to train the right candidate)
  • Experience with estimating, project coordination, construction administration, or office administration is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional phone and customer service skills
