Responsibilities

  • Record Keeping and Documentation
  • Equipment Operation
  • Clean Production Equipment and Facilities
  • Set-Up/Disassemble Packaging Equipment
  • Operate Specific In-Process Devices Associated with Equipment
  • Operate Material Handling Devices
  • Apply the Metric System to Assigned Process Calculations
  • Operate Colloid Mill
  • Disassemble, Clean, and Sanitize Equipment
  • Perform Measurements with Scales, Glassware, etc.
  • Monitor Temperatures with Various Devices
  • Operate Autoclave to Sterilize Equipment, Product, and Ingredients
  • Understand and Follow All SOPs Associated with the Department
  • Apply Proper Housekeeping Techniques
  • Follow Proper Dress, Secondary Gowning, and Personal Protective Equipment Policies
  • Process Familiarity
  • Familiarize with Production and Process Flow
  • Know Proper Staging and Storage of Supplies and Equipment
  • Learn Key Terminology Associated with Adjuvant Manufacturing
  • Develop Understanding of Emulsion Chemistry/Technology
  • Practice Proper Aseptic Technique
