Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Follow all corporate safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
- Perform routine installations and/or maintenance on assigned products.
- Perform log analysis of system errors during Qualification and test.
- Aid in on-the-job training to the internal technician in routine operation, installation, and troubleshooting of assigned products.
- Effectively troubleshoot issues for both hardware and software.
- Professionally interact with and understand technical information from the internal team and multi-national/multi-language teams.
- Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork and Status Reporting with supervision.
- Input data to the QA / QC check sheet, create a report, and submit it to the Installation Site Manager.
- Attend daily field meetings.
- Work with minimum supervision, as needed, and recommend technical solutions/resolutions to engineering groups.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines according to documented requirements.
- Make continuing visual and audible observations of the machines to detect any abnormalities.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all work done on the equipment and machines.
- Ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees' by wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Requirements
- Basic proficiency with mechanical hand tools.
- Basic understanding of AC/DC voltage components and the use of a digital multimeter.
- Ability to read a tape measure (standard and metric).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work a Saturday shift as needed.
- Ability to solve practical problems and work with varying conditions where limited standardization exists.
- Comfortable working at heights and operating a scissor lift.
- Proficiency with PC applications (MS Office, Excel, Windows).
- Valid driver's license.
Physical Effort/Activities
- May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day.
- Able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time.
- Able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces.
- Work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
