About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, customer service-oriented Alignment and Suspension Technician to join our growing team at Delaware Tire Centers in Dover, Delaware.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle wheel alignments, including light truck and SUV wheel alignments
- Diagnose and repair suspension issues, including ride and handling problems
- Replace tires and wheels as needed
- Replace suspension and steering parts as required
- Perform shock and strut replacements
- Handle basic mechanical repairs and parts replacement
- Complete suspension and steering adjustments
- Identify and replace bent or damaged suspension or steering components
- Apply basic automotive knowledge and diagnostic skills
Requirements
- High School or GED
- ASE Certification in alignment and suspension preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in alignment and suspension work
- Experience in the automotive industry highly preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to handle heavy objects with precision
Qualifications
- Basic automotive knowledge
- Diagnostic ability and common sense
