About the role

Bushnell University is interviewing for adjunct instructor positions in the School of Business, Leadership & Technology. Positions are available for undergraduate teaching in the face-to-face (F2F), hybrid, or fully online modalities.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, and Human Resource Management.
  • Show a strong commitment to multiculturalism and diversity.
  • Have a vibrant and maturing Christian faith.
  • Submit a Personal Statement of Faith addressing faith in personal, family, community, and church life, integration with academic discipline, and support for Bushnell’s Theological Context for Community statement.
  • Adhere to FERPA guidelines and maintain student confidentiality.
  • Be actively engaged in a Christian congregation and support Bushnell’s Theological Context for Community statement.
  • Work in a non-smoking, drug-free environment.
  • Communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbally and in writing, with tact, patience, and courtesy.
  • Have high personal motivation, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Project a positive, vibrant, and professional attitude.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and kneeling.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in the area of instruction, or a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience for undergraduate teaching.
  • A doctorate degree, or a master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience for graduate program teaching.
