About the role
Bushnell University is interviewing for adjunct instructor positions in the School of Business, Leadership & Technology. Positions are available for undergraduate teaching in the face-to-face (F2F), hybrid, or fully online modalities.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, and Human Resource Management.
- Show a strong commitment to multiculturalism and diversity.
- Have a vibrant and maturing Christian faith.
- Submit a Personal Statement of Faith addressing faith in personal, family, community, and church life, integration with academic discipline, and support for Bushnell’s Theological Context for Community statement.
- Adhere to FERPA guidelines and maintain student confidentiality.
- Be actively engaged in a Christian congregation and support Bushnell’s Theological Context for Community statement.
- Work in a non-smoking, drug-free environment.
- Communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbally and in writing, with tact, patience, and courtesy.
- Have high personal motivation, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Project a positive, vibrant, and professional attitude.
- Lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and kneeling.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in the area of instruction, or a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience for undergraduate teaching.
- A doctorate degree, or a master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience for graduate program teaching.
