Adjunct Professor of Business Writing

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Creating lesson plans
  • Teaching 1-2 classes a week
  • Holding office hours each week for students
  • Grading and reviewing student work and exams
  • Attending orientation and corresponding with the business writing coordinator, Prof. Gregory Iannarella

Required Qualifications

  • Candidates must have experience teaching composition in a college or university setting
  • At minimum, an MA in a related field
  • CV and letter of interest are required to apply
  • A statement of teaching philosophy, course evaluations from a composition class, and up to three letters of reference are recommended

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in the business world is preferred
  • MBA/PhD preferred

Salary Range

Minimum pay is $1200 per credit for those without a terminal degree and $1300 per credit for those with a terminal degree
