Duties And Responsibilities
- Creating lesson plans
- Teaching 1-2 classes a week
- Holding office hours each week for students
- Grading and reviewing student work and exams
- Attending orientation and corresponding with the business writing coordinator, Prof. Gregory Iannarella
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must have experience teaching composition in a college or university setting
- At minimum, an MA in a related field
- CV and letter of interest are required to apply
- A statement of teaching philosophy, course evaluations from a composition class, and up to three letters of reference are recommended
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the business world is preferred
- MBA/PhD preferred
Salary Range
Minimum pay is $1200 per credit for those without a terminal degree and $1300 per credit for those with a terminal degree
