Adjunct Professor – Nursing

About the role

This position is located on the Airport Campus in the School of Health Care, providing direct supervision of students in a variety of clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Instruction includes hands-on and theory, clinical management of students, and administrative tasks such as reports, clinical documentation, and student evaluations.
• Assess the performance of students on a regular basis.
• Maintain records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• At least two (2) years recent clinical experience in specialty area.
• Active, unencumbered SC Nursing License.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Must meet all requirements for clinical participation per clinical facility.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and clinical teaching experience.
