Adjunct Professor for Bio Med Science

About the role

The Biomedical Sciences section of the Department of Diagnostic Health Professions at Long Island University‑Post is seeking adjunct faculty to serve as thesis mentors for MS‑level experimental or clinical thesis research. The MS in Biomedical Sciences program prepares students for careers in medicine, dentistry, pharmaceutical industries, or research.

Responsibilities

• Act as a thesis mentor for MS‑level experimental or clinical thesis research.
• Support and mentor student research in any area of biomedicine, including cancer biology, epidemiology, microbiology, immunology, etc.
• Provide hands‑on training for students, with a preference for faculty located in the New York metropolitan area.

Requirements

• Principal investigator or clinical researcher with expertise in biomedicine.
• Ability to support and mentor graduate‑level research projects.
• Preference for faculty residing in the New York metropolitan area to facilitate hands‑on training.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
