Adjunct Pool CAD Instructor
About the role
Muskegon Community College seeks qualified candidates for Adjunct CAD Instructor positions. These pools are for individuals interested in teaching in the future as part-time instructors in one of our departments.
Responsibilities
- Instruct and facilitate student learning
- Commit to student recruitment, retention, and success
- Assess learning, develop curriculum, and utilize various instructional methods
- Teach day, night, and online courses at the main campus and extension centers
- Prepare, submit, and maintain reports related to student learning
- Grade assignments meaningfully to promote student growth, return graded assignments promptly, and assign final grades
- Provide educational assistance during office hours or by appointment
- Encourage student opinion survey completion and review results to improve student success
- Maintain professional knowledge and expertise, including compliance training
Requirements
- Master's Degree in the discipline or 18 credits in the specific discipline
- Minimum two years' experience in the industry
- Prefer teaching experience at the college level
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations
- Experience with instructional technology preferred
