Adjunct – Physics

Responsibilities

• Deliver mathematics instruction at the undergraduate level.
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with learning objectives.
• Absess student performance through assignments, quizzes, projects, and exams.
• Provide timely entry of grades and constructive feedback to students.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades in the college provided learning management system.
• Hold regular office hours and attend adjunct convocation.
• Collaborate with department staff and faculty to enhance course content and teaching methods.
• Rigorously adhere to and enforce laboratory safety rules.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physics or equivalent experience with at least 18.0 graduate level credits in physics required.
• Prior teaching experience and laboratory experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
• Proficiency in educational technology and familiarity with learning management systems is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
