Adjunct Pharmacy Technician Instructor

Ayers Career College is seeking Adjunct Instructors for their Pharmacy Technician Program. The position offers an opportunity to share expertise with students looking to enter the field.

Responsibilities

• Teach students in both classroom and hands-on lab settings
• Ensure students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for entry-level employment
• Implement sound educational practices and support student academic development
• Manage classroom environments and foster a positive, engaging learning atmosphere
• Provide support, tutoring, and other assistance as needed
• Model professional behaviors, language, and activities expected of students

Requirements

• A license, diploma, certificate, or degree from a recognized institution or organization in pharmacy technician or related fields
• At least 4 years of documented occupational experience in pharmacy technician or related fields

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in all aspects, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude
• Ability to work in an observation/coaching style environment
• Capable of prioritizing tasks, accepting responsibility, and meeting deadlines
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer software skills, including Microsoft Office
