Pharmacy Technician Adjunct Instructor (ADJT26)

Job Responsibilities

Instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.

Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for course taught.

Ensure that course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi.

Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course.

Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned course.

Supervise students.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

• Associate’s degree required.
• Applicant is required to have graduated from an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited program and be a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Three (3) years of experience in the type of pharmacy setting for which they are training students.
• Demonstrated contribution and commitment to pharmacy practice and patient care.
• Liaison between sites and the program director to ensure that the students receive the intended educational experience and is effectively evaluated.
• This position requires travel to various clinical agencies within the CSRA.
