About the role

Nebraska Wesleyan University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach introductory algebra and statistics courses during the Fall 2026 semester.

Responsibilities

  • Teach MATH 1100 College Algebra (3 credits)
  • Teach MATH 1300 Statistics (3 credits)
  • Offer up to three sections per course from the provided time slots:
    • Tuesday/Thursday 10:20 am – 11:35 am
    • Tuesday/Thursday 12:20 pm – 1:35 pm
    • Tuesday/Thursday 2:20 pm – 3:35 pm
    • Tuesday/Thursday 8:35 am – 9:50 am
    • Tuesday/Thursday 10:20 am – 11:35 am
    • Tuesday/Thursday 2:20 pm – 3:35 pm

Requirements

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, OR
  • A different field with at least 18 graduate hours in mathematics or statistics
  • Teaching experience is preferred

Qualifications

  • A background check and official transcripts are required after the job offer and before employment
