Brief Description

Simpson University's Science & Mathematics Department is seeking candidates to join the adjunct instructor pool for the upcoming academic year. Currently, the department welcomes applications for instructors with the qualifications to teach courses in Mathematics. Please note that an appointment in one semester is not a guarantee of an appointment in a subsequent semester.

Responsibilities

  • Offer courses in Algebra, Precalculus or Statistics.
  • Deliver courses in-person at the Redding campus and/or remotely for online courses.
  • Utilize Canvas for course management and delivery of content.
  • Work with a diverse student body population.
  • Express an effusive Christian faith based in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Affirm the statement of faith of the Christian and Missionary Alliance

Requirements

Please note there is no remote option for this job, applicants will only be considered if able to fulfill the role in person.

Qualifications

  • M.A. in Mathematics or related field.
