About the role
The Department of Psychology at Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach the following undergraduate courses during the 2026-2027 academic year.
Responsibilities
- Teach PSYC BC Developmental Psychology Laboratory - 2 sections.
- Involves experiments related to cognitive, linguistic, perceptual, motor, social, affective, and personality development from infancy to adolescence.
- Teach PSYC BC2114 Cognitive Psychology Laboratory - 1 section.
- Students conduct experiments related to selected topics illustrating the methods, findings, and theories of contemporary cognitive psychology.
Qualifications
- Terminal degree in a related discipline, with all requirements for the degree completed by the time of hiring offer.
Pay
Pay Rate: $9,240 per course.
Schedule
Exact instructional assignments and other academic responsibilities are determined by the Chair or Director.
