Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
- For Adjunct Assistant Professor: Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent, and the ability to teach successfully.
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive service experience.
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in the automotive field.
- New York State Inspectors License.
- Have documented Electric Vehicle service and safety training.
- Master Automotive Service Excellence certification within 6 months of employment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in a related field and current ASE certifications may be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, especially at the college level is highly desirable.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Required within 3 months of employment.
Compensation
- Adjunct Lecturer: $112.50 per hour
- Adjunct Assistant Professor: $120.83 per hour
