PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create courses aligned with learning outcomes to encourage student engagement.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners and promotes critical thinking.
- Utilize various assessment methods to evaluate student progress and course effectiveness.
- Support students in achieving their academic, personal, and career goals.
- Promote collaboration and teamwork within the academic and professional communities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, and at least one industry credential from the American Welding Society and another from the American Welding Society, MSSC, NIMS, ASQ, SME, ASME, or a City of Chicago electrician’s license (counting as two industry credentials).
- Eight years of experience in manufacturing, including at least three years in welding, and at least one industry credential from the same list as above, or an IBEW journeyman’s card (also counting as two industry credentials).
Pay
The salary range for this position is $800.00 - $943.00 per contact hour. Benefits information is available at this link.
