Adjunct Instructors - Mathematics & Science

Brief Description

The Division of Mathematics and Science is currently accepting applications for additional adjunct instructors for course sections that may be potentially offered in the upcoming academic year. Courses may be offered during the day, later afternoon/evening, or weekends in a variety of formats (in-person, hybrid, online).

Courses Offered

• Anatomy and Physiology (one and two-semester sequences and non-majors Human Biology)
• Biology (majors and non-majors including survey of disease, biotechnology & society or other related courses)
• Chemistry (intro and majors)
• Earth and Space Science (including Oceanography and Astronomy)
• General Physical Science
• Mathematics (quantitative reasoning, statistical reasoning, applied algebra, pre-calculus)
• Nutrition
• General Physics (algebra based)

Requirements

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Applicants must have at minimum a Master's degree in the area or discipline of interest (or Master's degree in Education/Teaching with at least 12 graduate credits in a specific discipline, i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics etc.).
• Two years of relevant teaching experience is required.
